All Goodman Bus Service vehicles undergo a 56 point daily comprehensive inspection by the bus driver as required by law. All documented defects that directly affect the safe operation of the vehicle are immediately corrected upon receipt. If repairs cannot be made at that time the vehicle is taken out of service and no driver is permitted to operate the vehicle until the appropriate repairs have been made.
All vehicles undergo a complete inspection and re-certification every 4,000 miles. Goodman Bus Service utilizes Easy Bus® fleet maintenance software to maintain vehicle repairs, scheduled maintenance and our parts inventory. This is important to you, the customer because it allows us to ensure that we are providing the proper maintenance to our vehicles on time all the time ensuring that our passengers are being transported in the most safe and reliable vehicles we can provide.
Every 2,000 mile, as required by law, we perform a brake adjustment and re-certification.
